1. Introduction
Concordant Networks is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Concordant Networks platform. By using the platform you consent to the data practices described in this policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly:
- Identity data (name, email)
- Professional data (company, title, industry, headline, location, LinkedIn URL)
- ICP data (target revenue range, employee range, target industries, target titles)
- Referral data (contact name, company, title, revenue range, industry)
- Outcome data (meeting booked, deal closed, deal value range)
- Vouching data (context provided when inviting members)
- Payment data (processed by payment processor)
2.2 Information collected automatically:
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent)
- Device data (IP address, browser type, operating system)
- Log data (access times, error logs)
- Cookie data (session identifiers and preferences)
2.3 Information from third parties:
- Members who invite you (inviter name and vouching context)
- Members who submit referrals referencing you
- Authentication providers if you use social login
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Operate the matching algorithm
- Calculate your Referral Score
- Facilitate referral exchanges
- Send match and action notifications
- Manage your membership and subscription
- Improve the platform
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
- Communicate platform updates
We do not use your data for targeted advertising, profiling for non-platform purposes, or sale to third parties.
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 With other members: Unlocked members (confirmed matches or invitees) see your full profile. Locked members see first name only, industry badge, tier, and target revenue range. Your referral submissions are shared with the intended recipient only. Your outcome confirmations are shared with the referral submitter only. We do not share your email address or payment information with other members.
4.2 With service providers: All subject to confidentiality agreements:
- Database hosting (Supabase)
- Email delivery service
- Payment processor (Stripe)
- Analytics services
- Security monitoring
4.3 Legal disclosures: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
4.4 Business transfers: In the event of merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
4.5 No sale of personal data: Concordant does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for any purpose.
5. Data Retention
- Account and profile data: duration of membership plus 24 months
- Referral and outcome data: duration of membership plus 24 months
- Payment records: 7 years from transaction
- ToS acceptance records: indefinitely
- Security and access logs: 12 months
- Anonymized analytics data: indefinitely
Upon account termination you may request deletion of your personal data within 30 days subject to legal retention requirements.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest
- Row-level security controls
- Regular security scanning
- Access controls limiting employee access
- Secure SOC 2 compliant database infrastructure
Despite these measures no security system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use:
- Essential/session cookies (authentication, security, platform functionality)
- Preference cookies (settings and preferences)
- Analytics cookies (anonymized usage understanding)
You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
8. Third Party Links
The platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. If you connect a LinkedIn profile we collect only information you explicitly authorize through LinkedIn's OAuth process.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident you have the following rights:
9.1 Right to Know — Request information about personal information we have collected, its sources, business purposes, and third parties it is shared with.
9.2 Right to Delete — Request deletion of your personal information subject to legal exceptions.
9.3 Right to Correct — Request correction of inaccurate personal information.

9.5 Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — We use professional data solely to operate the platform.
9.6 Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
9.7 To exercise your rights contact privacy@concordantnetworks.com with subject line "California Privacy Rights Request." We respond within 45 days.
10. Children's Privacy
The platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child contact privacy@concordantnetworks.com immediately.
11. International Members
The platform is operated from the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. EU and UK members may have additional rights under GDPR. For GDPR inquiries contact privacy@concordantnetworks.com.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
